DESCRIPTION

The 1544970-1 is a single wire seal (SWS) designed to provide environmental sealing for individual wire entries in electrical connectors. Made from brown silicone, this seal is specifically designed for a 10.5 mm cavity diameter and is compatible with wires having an insulation diameter from 2.65 mm to 4 mm. It operates reliably across a wide temperature range of -40°C to 130°C and has a Shore A hardness of 50. As part of the AMP NG Power Terminals and Connectors family, it is used to protect connections from moisture and contaminants in various applications, including automotive systems.
