DESCRIPTION

The 1-2221860-3 is a Series 90 AMPLIMITE high-density D-Subminiature plug connector with a shell size of 3 and 44 positions. This connector is designed for harsh environments, featuring an IP67 rating for water and dust ingress protection achieved through a grommet and interfacial seal. Designed to meet MIL-DTL-24308 standards, this version is supplied without contacts but is compatible with size 22 rear-release crimp contacts. Constructed with a cadmium-plated steel shell and a glass-filled polyester insert, it operates reliably across a temperature range of –55°C to +125°C. Its robust, sealed design makes it ideal for demanding aerospace, defense, and marine applications.
