DESCRIPTION

The 1-2157480-2 is a 15-position, size 2, Series 109 AMPLIMITE plug assembly designed for rugged, sealed connections. It features an IP67 rating for environmental protection, achieved with an integrated interfacial seal made from a fluorosilicone/silicone blend and a red silicone rubber grommet. The connector is constructed with cadmium-plated steel shells and is designed to accept 15 gold-plated copper alloy crimp pin contacts, which are shipped with the assembly. Designed to conform to MIL-DTL-24308 standards, this plug will mate with any receptacle connector sharing the same 15-position insert arrangement, making it ideal for harsh environment applications requiring reliable interconnects.
