DESCRIPTION

RL73N1HR51FTD is a surface-mount thick-film chip resistor from the RL73 Series designed for current sensing applications in low-voltage power supplies and power management circuits. This resistor features a special metal glaze resistive element with noble metal terminals and a nickel barrier layer beneath matte tin finish, providing excellent reliability and extended terminal life. The device is available in multiple chip sizes with resistance ranges from R51 to R91 ohms, temperature coefficient of resistance of ±300 PPM/°C, and power ratings up to 2W at 70°C depending on package size. It is ideal for battery charge management, communications, audio, and automotive applications where precise current detection is required. The resistor meets MSL 1 moisture sensitivity level and is supplied on paper or embossed plastic tape for protection during handling and storage.
