DESCRIPTION

1-1718492-6 is an AMP MCP 1.5K automotive connector housing designed for wire-to-wire power applications with 36 male terminal positions arranged in 4 rows. The housing features a rectangular shape with 4 mm (0.157 in) centerline spacing, 1.6 mm contact size, and is constructed from glass-filled PBT material with an orange color finish. It operates at nominal voltages of 12V and 24V with a maximum operating voltage of 36 VDC, and maintains performance across an operating temperature range of -40°C to +120°C. The connector is unsealed and cable-mounted with a 180° cable exit angle, utilizing keyed mating alignment for proper positioning.
