DESCRIPTION

The MDSL2ARA is a miniature DIN right-angle receptacle designed for personal computer, video, data communications, medical, and instrumentation equipment. These female-only receptacles are available with 3 through 8 contacts and feature a separate ground contact system, which can be a straight or a bifurcated snap-in type for secure PCB mounting. The connector body is made of black molded UL 94V-0 thermoplastic, and the copper alloy contacts can be silver or gold-plated. With staggered PC terminals for enhanced hold-down during soldering, these connectors are ideal for compact and reliable board-mounted applications.
