DESCRIPTION

SGX-AZ65A is an air quality triple gas sensor module designed to measure external pollution levels and provide air quality information to vehicle climate control systems. The module contains triple SMD semiconductor sensors (MiCS-6814) with high sensitivity to CO, hydrocarbons, VOCs, NO2, and NH3, featuring smart algorithms for tunnel management and auto-adaptive sensitivities. It communicates via LIN 2.1 protocol with Diagnostic Class II capability, operates at 8–16V (normal 13.5V), and achieves operational status within 30 seconds of power-on with a warm-up time of 30 seconds. The sensor features watertight housing (IP6K6K), low sleep mode current of 10 µA, and normal operating current below 45 mA at 13.5V, with operating humidity and temperature ranges of 5–95% RH and -40°C to +85°C. The AZ65A is installed at the fresh-air inlet of vehicles to detect pollution changes and control the recirculation flap, minimizing cabin pollution and odor levels while providing high selectivity between diesel and gasoline vehicle emissions.
