DESCRIPTION

The IR11GM_1 is an infrared single gas sensor designed for reliable monitoring of carbon dioxide concentrations in hazardous environments using the proven Non-Dispersive Infrared (NDIR) principle. This sensor features a rugged stainless steel construction with an embedded thermistor for improved temperature compensation, a standard IR source, and 7 pins for electrical connections. The sensor is available in a 16.6 mm height configuration and operates over an ambient temperature range of -20°C to +55°C with a maximum input power of 2.5 W. It provides fast response times (maximum 20 seconds), low power consumption, and immunity to poisoning effects, making it suitable for applications in oil & gas, petrochemical, biogas, wastewater treatment, utilities, steelworks, confined space entry, and indoor air quality monitoring. The sensor is certified for use in Class I hazardous locations under ATEX, UL, and CSA standards.
