DESCRIPTION

INIR2IA-ME5 is a digital infrared methane gas sensor designed for gas leakage detection in industrial, residential, and mining environments using SGX Sensortech's non-dispersive infrared technology. It features triple measurement ranges (0-1%vol., 1-4%vol., 4-5%vol.) with automatic switchover, high resolution up to 10ppm, and detectivity level at 100ppm. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 3.2 to 5.25 VDC with typical low power consumption under 100mW, and provides both analog output (12-bit, 0-2.5V DC) and UART serial communication at configurable baud rates. With an operating temperature range of -40°C to +75°C, operating humidity of 0-99%, and built-in temperature compensation, the sensor delivers reliable performance across varying environmental conditions. ATEX and IECEx certified for use in hazardous areas, this sensor is ideal for applications in agriculture, automation, indoor air quality monitoring, industrial health and safety, waste management, and mining.
