DESCRIPTION

The ECVQ-EK3 is an electrochemical and pellistor gas sensor evaluation kit designed to accelerate gas sensor instrument development. It features a PCB with integrated microcontroller, 16-bit ADC for sensor output measurement, and adjustable pellistor bridge voltage (1.6 V to 4.6 V) and electrochemical bias voltage (-700 mV to +350 mV) to accommodate various sensor types. The kit includes a universal mains adapter (90–264 V ac input, 9 V dc output), USB interface for PC connectivity, and free data logging software that enables automatic sensor monitoring, performance assessment, and gas concentration calculation. Four configurable alarm outputs, two 12-bit analog outputs, and four digital inputs provide flexible integration options, while a JTAG header allows custom firmware development. The kit is ideal for engineers prototyping gas detection instruments, as it eliminates the need for custom circuit design and provides immediate access to sensor characterization tools and comprehensive documentation.
