DESCRIPTION

B553-2 is a power module from the B-2 Series designed for AC or DC variable voltage output applications up to 15 kW. The module features isolation barriers and supports multiple circuit configurations with selectable AC line input voltages (120 VAC, 240 VAC, 280 VAC, or 480 VAC). It delivers a maximum DC output current of 25 A at 85°C junction temperature with a voltage drop of 1.65 V at rated current, and operates over a junction temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. The device includes critical dv/dt rating of 500 V/µs and di/dt rating of 100 A/µs, with isolation voltage of 2500 Vrms for safety and noise immunity. This power module is ideal for industrial control systems, variable frequency drives, and AC/DC power conversion applications requiring reliable thyristor switching and thermal management.
