DESCRIPTION
The 770758 is a dual combination tester designed to verify the functionality of personnel grounding devices, including single-wire and dual-wire wrist straps, foot grounders, and ESD shoes. It performs three independent tests simultaneously using a 30 VDC test signal for enhanced reliability and features a solid-state touch switch for accuracy. Test limits are user-configurable via DIP switches, with factory defaults set to 750 kΩ to 10 MΩ for wrist straps and 750 kΩ to 35 MΩ for footwear. Green lights indicate a pass condition, while red/yellow lights and an audible alarm signal a failure. For access control applications, the integrated relay terminal can be connected to electronic door locks or turnstiles to grant entry only to personnel who pass their grounding tests.
