7001818 is an aluminized moisture barrier bag from SCS's Dri-Shield® 2000 product line, engineered to protect ESD and moisture-sensitive items both inside and outside ESD protected areas. The bag is manufactured from a laminate of multiple layers of aluminized polyester and polyethylene, where polyester provides puncture resistance and metal layers deliver ESD shielding while minimizing electric field penetration and providing moisture protection. Key performance characteristics include a moisture vapor transmission rate of =0.035 grams/100 sq. in./24 hrs, tensile strength of 7800 PSI (54 MPa), puncture resistance of 20 lbs (89 N), and a thickness of 3.6 mils (0.0914 mm). The bag meets ANSI/ESD S20.20, ANSI/ESD S541, and ANSI/ESD S11.4 Level 3 standards, with ESD shielding performance of <10 nJ and EMI attenuation of 45 dB (1 to 10 GHz). These bags are heat-sealable and suitable for vacuum packaging, making them ideal for protecting sensitive electronics during storage and transport in commercial applications.
