DESCRIPTION

100816 is a 3M Static Shielding Bag SCC 1000 with dimensions of 8 inches by 16 inches, designed to provide a static-safe environment for sensitive electronic devices. The bag features a four-layer construction with polyester dielectric and aluminum metal layer that provides Faraday effect shielding of electrostatic discharge (ESD) and electromagnetic fields, while specially processed polyethylene minimizes tribocharging. Key electrical properties include interior surface resistivity less than 10^12 ohms/square, metal layer resistance of 100 ohms, static shielding voltage less than 30 volts, and static decay time less than 2 seconds. Physical specifications include tensile strength of 4700 PSI, seam strength greater than 10 lbs, thickness of 3 mils, and light transmission of 40 percent. These bags are tested to meet ANSI/ESD S541, EIA 625, and ANSI/ESD S20.20 program compliance standards, making them suitable for protecting components in electronics manufacturing, assembly, and storage applications.
