100715 is a 7" × 15" open-top static shielding bag from 3M's SCC 1000 series designed to provide a static-safe environment for sensitive electronic devices. The bag features a four-layer construction with polyester dielectric and aluminum metal layer that provides Faraday effect shielding of electrostatic discharge (ESD) and electromagnetic fields, while specially processed polyethylene minimizes tribocharging. Key electrical properties include interior surface resistivity less than 10¹² ohms/square, metal layer resistance of 100 ohms, static shielding voltage less than 30 volts, and static decay time less than 2 seconds. Physical characteristics include tensile strength of 4700 PSI, seam strength greater than 10 lbs, 40% light transmission, and 3 mils thickness. These bags are tested to meet ANSI/ESD S541, EIA 625, and ANSI/ESD S20.20 program compliance standards, making them ideal for protecting components during storage, handling, and transport in electronics manufacturing and assembly environments.
