DESCRIPTION

The 100624 is a 3M Static Shielding Bag SCC 1000 with dimensions of 6 inches width by 24 inches length, designed to provide a static-safe environment for sensitive electronic devices. It features a four-layer polyester/metal/polyethylene laminate construction with a metal layer that provides Faraday effect shielding of electrostatic discharge (ESD) and electromagnetic fields, while the specially processed polyethylene minimizes tribocharging. The bag meets or exceeds electrical and physical requirements of ANSI/ESD S541, EIA 625, and is ANSI/ESD S20.20 program compliant. Key electrical properties include interior surface resistivity less than 10¹² ohms/square, metal resistance of 100 ohms, static decay less than 2 seconds, and charge generation of 0.09 nC/sq.in. on PTFE and 0.01 nC/sq.in. on quartz. Physical properties include tensile strength of 4700 PSI, seam strength greater than 10 lbs, 40% light transmission, and 3 mils thickness. These bags are ideal for protecting integrated circuits, semiconductors, and other ESD-sensitive components during storage, handling, and transport.
