DESCRIPTION

The MP-3521-WT is a 2-conductor audio plug designed for overmolding applications, manufactured by Same Sky (formerly CUI Devices). It features a rated input voltage of 12 Vdc with a maximum current rating of 1 A, and is constructed with a PDM insulator (UL94HB), brass sleeve with nickel plating, and brass tip with nickel plating. The plug exhibits a maximum contact resistance of 30 mO between plug and jack, an insulation resistance of 100 MO at 500 Vdc, and can withstand 500 Vac for 1 minute. Operating over a temperature range of -25°C to +70°C with up to 85% humidity, the plug supports 5,000 insertion/withdrawal cycles with insertion and withdrawal forces between 0.4 and 4 kgf. This audio plug is ideal for consumer audio equipment, portable devices, and applications requiring reliable low-voltage audio signal transmission with robust mechanical durability.
