DESCRIPTION

The MD-70SP is a vertical panel-mount Mini DIN connector featuring 7 pins and plastic mounting ears with recess for hex nut installation. It is rated for 100 Vac or 12 Vdc input with a maximum current of 2 A at 12 Vdc, and exhibits a contact resistance of 30 mO maximum and insulation resistance of 50 MO at 250 Vdc. The connector withstands 250 Vac for 1 minute, has an insertion force of 4.5 kg maximum and withdrawal force between 0.9 kg and 3 kg, with an operational life of 5,000 cycles over a temperature range of 5°C to 80°C. The connector is constructed with phosphor bronze pins (silver-plated), brass shell (nickel-plated), HIPS body, and nylon housing, meeting UL94V-0 flammability rating and RoHS 2011/65/EU compliance. This connector is ideal for industrial control systems, audio/video equipment, and other applications requiring reliable multi-pin connectivity in compact form factors.
