DESCRIPTION

CEM-1201(42) is a magnetic buzzer transducer designed for externally driven audio signaling applications. It operates at a rated voltage of 1.5 Vo-p with an operating voltage range of 1.0 to 2.0 Vo-p, and produces a sound pressure level of 85 dBA minimum (90 dBA typical) at 10 cm when driven at the rated frequency of 2,048 Hz. The transducer features a coil resistance of 42.0 O typical, maximum current consumption of 20 mA, and compact dimensions of Ø12.0 x 8.5 mm with a weight of 1.4 g. Constructed with PPO (black) material and gold-plated pin terminals for through-hole mounting, it operates reliably across a temperature range of -20°C to +60°C. This RoHS-compliant buzzer is suitable for alarm systems, consumer electronics, and industrial equipment requiring audible alerts.
