DESCRIPTION

The AMT11A2S-V is a modular incremental encoder featuring patented capacitive ASIC technology and CMOS voltage output signals for position and motion detection. It supports incremental resolutions up to 4096 PPR (pulses per revolution) with quadrature output channels A and B, delivering accuracy of 0.2 degrees and a typical current consumption of 18 mA at 5V supply. The encoder operates over a wide temperature range of -40°C to +125°C and features a compact modular package with a locking hub, radial cable connection, and seven different mounting hole options for flexible installation. With rise/fall times of 8 ns and output current capability of 15 mA per channel, this encoder is well-suited for motor control, robotics, automation systems, and precision positioning applications requiring reliable rotational feedback.
