DESCRIPTION

The MD-70FC is a 7-pin Mini DIN connector designed for PCB mounting applications requiring fully shielded, right-angle connectivity with integrated ferrite filtering. It features ground tabs and a ferrite spacer that provides EMI suppression with impedance of 13 O at 25 MHz and 27 O at 100 MHz. The connector supports rated input voltage of 100 Vac or 12 Vdc with maximum current ratings of 1 A at 100 Vac and 2 A at 12 Vdc, while maintaining contact resistance below 30 mO and insulation resistance of 50 MO at 250 Vdc. Operating over a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C with an insertion/withdrawal force range of 1–4.5 kg and 0.8–3 kg respectively, the MD-70FC is rated for 1,000 connection cycles and meets UL94V-0 flammability and RoHS 2011/65/EU compliance standards. This connector is ideal for industrial control systems, audio equipment, and other applications requiring reliable shielded signal transmission with EMI protection.
