DESCRIPTION

The KC-89-66 is a 75-ohm BNC termination load designed for RF and microwave applications requiring impedance matching and signal termination. It features a power rating of 1/2 watt and an impedance of 75 ohms ±1%, meeting MIL-STD-348 interface specifications (Figure 301-1). The termination is constructed with a Teflon insulator (ASTM-D-1457), silicone rubber gasket (ZZ-R-765), beryllium copper spring washer (ASTM-B-196), and brass body (ASTM-B16), with all metal parts silver-plated per QQ-S-365 for corrosion resistance and reliable electrical contact. This termination is commonly used in test equipment, RF systems, and transmission line applications where precise impedance matching and signal integrity are critical.
