DESCRIPTION

The K8-8R-D is a non-insulated large ring terminal made from copper, designed for terminating #8 AWG wire onto a #8 stud. It features a brazed seam to prevent barrel separation during crimping, a chamfered barrel entry for easy wire insertion, and internal barrel serrations for improved tensile strength and lower resistance connections. This terminal is rated for 2000 V, can handle a test current of 70 amps for a maximum 50°C rise, and has a minimum tensile pull-out force of 90 lbs. As a UL Listed and CSA certified component, it provides a secure and reliable connection in various OEM applications.
