DESCRIPTION

The SO96-2-55-22-90 is a shield terminator designed for high-temperature applications, providing a reliable method for shield-to-ground termination. It features a transparent, radiation-crosslinked, heat-shrinkable polyvinylidene fluoride insulation sleeve and a prefluxed Sn96 Ag4 solder preform with RA flux. This specific model includes a preinstalled 22 AWG nickel-plated lead and is designed to fit cables with a maximum jacket outer diameter of 2.7 mm and a minimum shield outer diameter of 1.40 mm. A key feature is its thermochromic temperature indicator, which provides visual confirmation of a proper solder joint. Operating from -55°C to 175°C, this immersion-resistant terminator meets SAE-AS83519 and NAS 1747 performance requirements, making it ideal for demanding environments.
