DESCRIPTION

The M83519/1-5 is a one-piece shield terminator designed for shield-to-ground connections on cables up to 7.0 mm in diameter. This specific part comes without a pre-installed lead and is constructed with a radiation-crosslinked, heat-shrinkable polyvinylidene fluoride insulation sleeve for encapsulation and strain relief. It contains a prefluxed Sn63 solder preform with RMA flux and features a thermochromic temperature indicator that changes color to verify correct installation temperature. With an operating range of -55°C to 150°C and immersion resistance, the M83519/1-5 is ideal for applications requiring a controlled, inspectable, and environmentally protected termination.
