DESCRIPTION

The HFT5000-40/20-0-SP is a highly flexible, heat-shrinkable fabric tubing designed to provide mechanical abrasion protection. Constructed from a woven blend of polyethylene and polyester, it features a 2:1 shrink ratio, reducing from a minimum supplied diameter of 40 mm to a maximum recovered diameter of 20 mm. This halogen-free tubing operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C and has a fully recovered wall thickness of approximately 1 mm. It provides excellent resistance to common fluids and passes the MVSS302 flammability standard. Common applications include protecting rubber hoses, plastic pipes, and harness wiring bundles, as well as for noise and rattle suppression.
