DESCRIPTION

The D-1744-03 is an immersion-sealed wire splice from the D-1744 series, designed for robust wire-to-wire connections. It features a transparent, radiation-crosslinked polyvinylidene fluoride sleeve for insulation and strain relief, along with a prefluxed Sn63 Pb37 solder preform for controlled soldering. This splice accommodates a combined total conductor area of 4000 to 10000 CMA with a wire jacket outer diameter range of 1.30 mm to 4.57 mm. With an operating temperature range of -55°C to +150°C and a thermochromic temperature indicator, it ensures reliable installation and performance. The D-1744-03 meets NAS-1744 standards and is ideal for applications requiring protection against fluid immersion.
