DESCRIPTION

The CWT-3806-180-8338 is a controlled soldering device designed for terminating a bare or tin-plated copper shield on a cable. It consists of a heat-shrinkable, transparent modified polyolefin insulation sleeve, a preform solder with flux, and thermoplastic meltable rings. This terminator has a maximum length of 42.0 mm and is designed for an operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C. It accommodates cables with a minimum shield diameter of 3.3 mm and a minimum primary wire diameter of 2.8 mm. This device provides a reliable, insulated, and strain-relieved termination for cables with an insulation rating of at least +85°C.
