DESCRIPTION

The 55A0811-12-9 is a normal weight, general-purpose 12 AWG wire rated for 600 volts and a maximum continuous conductor temperature of 150°C. It is constructed with a 37x28 stranded tin-coated copper conductor and features dual-layer insulation of radiation-crosslinked modified ETFE. This wire has a maximum DC resistance of 2.02 ohms per 1000 feet at 20°C and a finished diameter of 0.111 ± 0.003 inches. Key performance characteristics include a minimum insulation resistance of 5000 megohms for 1000 ft., successful low-temperature cold bend testing at -65°C, and a post-environmental voltage withstand of 2500 volts (rms). Its robust design makes it suitable for demanding general-purpose electrical and electronic applications where reliability and durability are required.
