DESCRIPTION

The 222D242-25/225-0 is a right-angled, lipped boot designed to provide strain relief and mechanical protection between a cable and connector. Constructed from a fluid-resistant elastomer, it is supplied with a minimum connector entry diameter of 34.0 mm and a minimum cable entry diameter of 22.9 mm. After heat application, it recovers to a maximum connector entry of 21.3 mm and a cable entry of 9.7 mm, with a recovered length of 172.2 mm. This model includes a factory-applied S-1125 adhesive coating for enhanced environmental sealing. It is particularly suitable for open-wire-bundle airborne harnesses and applications where the long tail can replace cable jacketing removed during termination.
