DESCRIPTION

The B1443S is a 5/8-wave mobile load coil antenna with spring designed for VHF land mobile radio applications in the 144–174 MHz frequency band. It features a tunable center frequency and delivers 3 dBi gain across its operating range, with an overall length of 135.6 cm (53-3/8 inches) and a 49° tapered whip style. The antenna is constructed with gold-plated contacts for superior corrosion resistance and power transfer, combined with an ABS material housing injection-molded around solid brass inserts to create a durable, leak-proof load coil assembly. The spring mechanism provides mechanical flexibility and protection against impact and vibration. This antenna is ideal for mobile radio installations in emergency services, public safety, and commercial communications where reliable VHF coverage and long-term durability are essential.
