DESCRIPTION

The 454928-E is a MicroCon dual-row 0.8 mm pitch connector designed for demanding industrial, medical, lighting, automotive, and consumer applications. It features SMT termination with 2–100 pins possible, blind-mate guide alignment for secure mating, and reinforced sidewalls for robustness in miniaturized form factors. The connector employs double-sided spring contacts based on proven design principles scaled for smaller dimensions, with tape and reel packaging available for automatic assembly. Multiple configurations are supported including parallel (Mezzanine), right angle (90°), and coplanar orientations to accommodate various PCB layouts. With compact dimensions—for example, the 50-pin variant measures 21.20 mm × 24.20 mm—this connector is ideal for space-constrained applications requiring reliable high-density interconnection.
