DESCRIPTION
The 294009-E is a MicroCon dual-row 0.8 mm pitch connector designed for demanding industrial, medical, lighting, automotive, and consumer applications. It features reinforced sidewalls for robustness, double-sided spring contacts based on proven miniaturized design principles, and geometrically heterogeneous locating pegs for precise PCB positioning with excellent tolerance compensation. The connector includes an integrated locking lever that can be manually released without tools, providing increased protection against accidental release of wire-to-board connections, along with a cable guide for strain relief. With a standard cable specification of AWG-34 (0.02 mm²) solid tinned copper wire and PVC gray insulation, the connector operates reliably across a temperature range of -30°C to +105°C (fixed applications) or -10°C to +105°C (mobile applications), with dielectric strength of 500 Vrms and insulation resistance of =20 MO·km. This miniaturized connector is ideal for space-constrained applications requiring secure mating, blind-mate guide alignment, and reliable long-term performance in harsh environments.
