DESCRIPTION

The 244692-E is a right-angle male MicroSpeed connector designed for high-speed board-to-board interconnection applications. It features a 2-row configuration with 50 pins and supports data rates up to 25 Gbit/s, making it suitable for next-generation communication standards such as Ethernet 100 Gbps and USB 3.1. The connector incorporates EMC enhanced shielding with surface-mount technology (SMT) shield contacts, providing excellent electromagnetic compatibility with minimized radiation and strong resistance to interference. Key electrical characteristics include a differential impedance of 100 O, single-ended impedance of 50 O, and multiline crosstalk less than 0.5% at 50 ps. The housing is constructed from liquid crystal polymer (LCP) with a UL flame rating of V-0, and contacts are made from copper alloy with gold plating in the mating area and tin termination. This connector is ideal for high-speed data communication, telecommunications, high-end computing, medical technology, and industrial automation applications requiring reliable high-speed transmission.
