DESCRIPTION

The 214912-E is a MicroSpeed Power Module connector designed for miniaturized, high-reliability power interconnection in mezzanine applications. It features a 5-pin configuration with 2.0 mm contact pitch and supports current ratings up to 18 A per contact, delivering high current-carrying capacity in a compact form factor. The connector offers flexible board-to-board stacking heights ranging from 5 mm to 20 mm, accommodating various PCB arrangement requirements, and supports both SMT and THR termination options. Operating over a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C with climate category 55/125°C, it maintains air and creepage distances of 1.5 mm minimum between contacts. This system is well-suited for small, high-performance devices such as CPUs, drives, and LCD panels, where space constraints and high current demands are critical design considerations.
