DESCRIPTION

The 214038-E is a MiniBridge cable connector system featuring 1.27 mm pitch spacing designed for compact, space-saving connections between PCBs and decentralized function units such as operator panels, switches, motors, and fans. This IDC-terminated connector offers high mating reliability with Koshiri Secure technology and housing geometry that prevents male contact damage during improper skewed insertion. The connector operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +150°C with a maximum current rating of 8.7 A per contact at 20°C (6.8 A at 70°C, 5.4 A at 100°C), contact resistance =25 mO, and dielectric strength of 500 Vrms. It supports 500 mating cycles with an insertion and withdrawal force of 1 N per contact and withstands vibration (10–2000 Hz) and shock (50 g, 11 ms) per IEC 60512 standards. The connector is available in white versions for lighting applications with colourless insulation bodies to prevent shadow formation, and is suitable for lead-free reflow soldering with tape and reel packaging for automatic assembly. Common applications include automotive, mechanical engineering, medical technology, and consumer electronics.
