DESCRIPTION

The 154740-E is a right-angle female SMC connector featuring 12 contacts in a dual-row configuration with 1.27 mm grid spacing, designed for secure board-to-board and cable-to-board connections. This high-performance connector incorporates double-sided spring contacts for superior contact reliability, a high-temperature resistant insulator with polarization and insertion chamfers, and supports data transmission rates up to 3 Gbit/s (differential). The connector operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C and maintains a contact resistance below 35 mO for board-to-board heights up to 20 mm, with a dielectric strength of 250 V RMS. Its compact design with location pegs for exact board placement and black insulation body enables fast visual recognition and reliable assembly in space-constrained applications requiring high signal integrity and current-carrying capacity.
