DESCRIPTION

The GILS-4/0(B18) is a power cable splice closure from the Raychem GILS series, designed for in-line connections. This cold-applied kit features a hinged, snap-lock closure for straightforward installation and includes a 2-port in-line connector. It accommodates single-conductor polymeric cables with wire sizes ranging from #2 to 4/0 AWG. Rated for 1 kV with an installed length of 114.3 mm, it is suitable for applications including above-ground, direct burial, and submersible environments.
