DESCRIPTION

The 747605-000, also known as MBSM-125/30-1200, is a wraparound jacket repair sleeve for versatile and permanent repair of damaged cable jackets. Made from a tough modified polyolefin, it features a 5:1 shrink ratio and is designed for a cable diameter range of 1.30 to 4.30 inches (33 to 109 mm). When heated above 125°C, the sleeve shrinks to fit the cable while its adhesive liner melts to create a seal against fluids and dirt. This sleeve provides a moisture-vapor transmission (MVT) barrier and is suitable for standard poly- or elastomeric-insulated/jacketed cables, including those with armoring, but does not provide electrical insulation.
