DESCRIPTION

The DMC-M99-01PA is a single-module quick-change modular connector designed for aircraft in-flight entertainment (IFE) and cabin systems. This connector features a mixed configuration with 6 Size 16 contacts and 5 Size 22 contacts, providing flexible signal routing for complex cabin network applications. The connector is constructed with nickel-plated composite shells and thermoplastic modules, supporting both crimp and PCB contact options with gold-plated copper alloy contacts. It operates reliably across a temperature range of -55°C to +175°C, withstands 500 mating cycles, and maintains 500 hours of salt spray resistance with an interfacial sealing rating of 1.1 × 10?² bar. The modular design allows for quick reconfiguration and toolless assembly, making it ideal for aerospace applications requiring compact, lightweight connectivity with high reliability and EMI shielding performance up to 50 dB at 100 MHz.
