The connector features a threaded 360° turn coupling mechanism with shell size 19 (F designation) and composite shell material with black zinc-nickel plating. It supports multiple contact sizes (23, 22, 20, 16, 12, 10, 8) with a maximum of 187 signal contacts, offering flexible insert arrangements including crimp, solder cup, and PCB tail contact styles. The connector operates across a wide temperature range of -65°C to +200°C depending on shell finish, provides environmentally sealed construction with scoop-proof design, and includes optional hermetic and filter versions with spring fingers for EMI control.
