DESCRIPTION

The DT06-08SB-EP06 is an 8-way B-key plug connector from TE Connectivity's DEUTSCH DT series, designed for reliable sealed connections in harsh industrial and transportation environments. This connector features enhanced seal retention design with a groove on the connector housing that secures the interface seal, combined with a green wedgelock (W85-P012) that holds the seal in place from the front, enabling robust attachment and easy seal replacement without replacing the entire connector. The connector accepts contact size 16 rated for 13 amps and accommodates 14–20 AWG (2.50–0.50 mm²) wire, with a rectangular thermoplastic housing in black color and an integrated latch for mating. It is field-proven to withstand heavy vibration, dirt, chemicals, and water spray, making it ideal for power distribution, signal transmission, and load switching applications in vehicles, heavy equipment, and industrial control systems where sealed, rugged connectivity is essential.
