DESCRIPTION

HSC100R22J is a 100-watt aluminium housed power resistor from the TE Connectivity HS Series, designed for high-power applications requiring efficient thermal dissipation. This wire-wound resistor features a dissipation rating of 100 watts at 25°C with a heatsink and 50 watts without one, with a resistance value of 0.22 ohms (R22). The device operates across a wide temperature range of -55°C to +200°C and supports a maximum working voltage of 1900 volts (DC or AC rms), with an isolation voltage of 3500 volts and dielectric strength of 5000 volts (AC peak). The resistor exhibits excellent stability with a resistance change of only 2% over 1000 hours, and features a standard heatsink area of 99,500 mm² with 4 mounting holes for secure installation. These specifications make the HSC100R22J ideal for power supplies, power generation systems, and industrial drive applications where reliable high-power dissipation and thermal management are essential.
