DESCRIPTION

1601559-1 is a RAST 5 connector housing from the AMP Multifitting Mark II or AMP MONO-SHAPE connector series designed for in-line mating technology. The connector features a 5.0 mm centerline spacing according to RAST 5 specifications, with housing material of PA 6.6 plastic in natural colour. Technical characteristics include copper alloy contacts with post-tinned finish (2.0 µm min.), wire size range from 0.5 to 1.5 mm², and current ratings up to 16 A depending on wire size. The connector meets safety standards including Glow Wire Test per IEC 695-2-1 (850°C) and 750°C no flame, with air and creepage distance =4.0 mm for 380 V rated voltage. These connectors are commonly used in industrial and commercial applications requiring reliable wire-to-wire or wire-to-board connections.
