The AAA1108-00 is a receptacle protection cap assembly designed for use with MIL-DTL-38999 Series III connectors. This cap features a gasket with a nominal diameter of 17.50 ± 0.50 mm (18.50 ± 0.50 mm for composite and black acetal options) and is available in multiple shell sizes ranging from 09 to 25, with corresponding thread specifications and maximum diameters defined in the design tables. The product supports various attachment options including eyelet configurations (ØF ranging from 3.2 to 6.4 mm), ring options (ØE MAX ranging from 18.0 to 44.6 mm), crimp ferrule, tie-wrap, or no termination, along with multiple lanyard types such as nylon-covered stainless steel wire rope, Teflon-covered variants, link chain, and polyester or nylon cord options. Material and finish options are selectable via part number codes, with plating choices including cadmium, electroless nickel, zinc cobalt, and zinc nickel black passivate, all meeting RoHS compliance requirements.
