DESCRIPTION

969028-5 is an AMP MCP 1.5K tab contact designed for use in HDSCS connector systems. This stamped and formed tab contact is supplied in strip form and accommodates wire sizes from 0.2 to 0.5 mm² with insulation diameters of 1.15 to 1.6 mm. The contact features CuSn4 (copper-tin alloy) material with select gold plating for reliable electrical connections. It is part of TE Connectivity's HDSCS connector series, which is engineered to protect sensitive electrical systems from vibration, moisture, dust, dirt, salt, and airborne particles in harsh industrial and commercial transportation environments. Compatible hand tool part number 539635-1 with die set 539663-2 is recommended for proper crimping.
