DESCRIPTION

900319-1 is a Positive Lock 312 quick disconnect receptacle terminal designed for secure wire and cable connections. It accommodates 20–18 AWG wire (0.51–0.82 mm²) with a mating tab width of 7.92 mm (0.312 in) and tab thickness of 0.81 mm (0.032 in), featuring a flag-style terminal orientation and low insertion force for ease of use. The terminal is constructed from brass with pre-tin plating, employs F-crimp attachment, and includes a dimple-based mating retention system rated for 7–100 Newton extraction force. Operating across a temperature range of -40°C to +110°C, this receptacle terminal supports wire insulation diameters of 1.52–2.31 mm and is commonly used in automotive lighting connectors, electrical harnesses, and quick-disconnect applications where reliable positive locking and low-force mating are essential.
