DESCRIPTION

The 8-33459-2 is a SOLISTRAND ring tongue terminal designed for terminating solid and stranded wire in industrial applications. This terminal accommodates 12-10 AWG wire (2.62-6.64 mm²) and features an M3.5 stud size with a width of 0.250 inches (6.35 mm) and length of 0.250 inches (6.35 mm). The terminal body is constructed of high-conductivity copper per ASTM B152 with tin plating per ASTM B545, providing excellent corrosion and vibration resistance. The brazed seam and "W" crimp design deliver high tensile strength while preventing wire pinching, and the bell-mouth barrel entrance facilitates easy wire insertion. With an operating temperature rating of 170°C and compliance with MIL-SPEC SAE AS7928 Type I Class I requirements, this terminal is ideal for use in material handling equipment, motors, heavy equipment, transformers, switchgear, and industrial control applications.
