DESCRIPTION

8-215079-0 is a Micro-MaTch female-on-board connector with top entry configuration designed for wire-to-board and board-to-board interconnections. It features a 1.27 mm contact spacing and tin-plated contacts with a unique positioning spring design that provides gas tight connections and fretting corrosion resistance. The connector is suitable for mass termination of 28 AWG (0.08 mm² to 0.09 mm²) ribbon cable and mates with male connectors including 215083, 338095+338096, 338095+338097, 215464, and 338728. Common applications include production and material handling equipment, control units, robots and motors, car radios, navigation systems, and audio equipment.
