DESCRIPTION

The 776231-2 is a vertical PCB header connector designed for sealed, high-density interconnections in industrial and commercial transportation applications. It features 35 positions with size 1.3 mm contacts, a natural-colored keyed housing, and tin-plated brass contacts that provide reliable electrical performance. The connector incorporates a silicone rubber wire seal to maintain environmental protection in rear connector cavities, with a recommended wire sealing range of 0.067–0.106 inches (1.7–2.7 mm) for 16–20 AWG wire insulation. The contact system uses a three-contact beam lanceeless stamped and formed design, rated for up to 8 amps with tin plating, and supports mate/unmate durability of 10 cycles at a maximum rate of 600 cycles per hour per TE Spec 109-27. This connector is commonly used in sealed automotive, industrial control, and transportation systems where environmental protection and reliable signal transmission are critical.
